Put Vallejo chipping medium on to your model with a brush. Not an airbrush, unless you want to spend a long time cleaning it out afterwards ..... DAMHIKT! |

2. Don't get the old Vallejo thinners mix directly with Retarder Medium in your airbrush cup before blowing it through. Mixes to a Copydex consistency ... ooops! Needs cleaning out with cocktail sticks

Oh dear - a bit like adding an alcohol-based thinner to one of the old Testors acrylic paints - guess how I know.

I reckon I learn something most times I sit at my bench - most especially if I decide to use the airbrush ... but as I'm quite an airbrush enthusiast at the mo it's very interesting ... and fun

If I was that way inclined, the chemistry of paints could be quite interesting. I feel it should be interesting, but none of it sticks - unlike Harriets mix! Grant |

Most of my experiment/test results over the years have been obtained empirically ... years ago I used to get paid for it too! These could be called accidental, but I couldn't possibly comment on that
