Got this from my good buddy Rich Cullen last week. Decided to start it while I am waiting on a few bits for the Airfix Sea Vixen to arrive. This kit is a dream so far! Adequate detail and good fit so far. Nothing major has been glued. The only aftermarket I am using on this one is a set of Neomega seats. Loving it so far!

Really good to see you building again rather than casting ad nauseam!

Isn't it lovely to see someone happy in their hobby!

Not into big pointy jets - but I do like the threads on here ...

Got a bit more done on the Javelin recently. The landing gear and canopies are not glued on. I was just doing a little fiddling with the fit. Still a bit of paint work to do the it will be decal time!

Certainly man enough Grant. I was a little uncertain at first when I built mine, but its very solid once all installed and glued.

Looking good Mike, glad to see you back building and enjoying yourself.

Repeat after me "I do not need any more tangents, I do not need any more tangents, I do not need any more tangents, I do not need any more tangents, I do not need any more tangents"

Very tempting though

Yeah, but when you have as many as I do ... it's chaos.
Perhaps that's the chaos theory explained!

Still a nice pointy jet though!

Getting closer!! Still a lot to do though. I have a bit more painting to do (black intake rings) as well as a host of decals to add. The gear is not attached either.

Phew! Glad to hear the gear is not attached yet Mike as the main gear are the wrong way round, wheels should be inside the legs not outside ( if you get me?!)
looking great though, it really is a cracking kit.

Mike, it is just sitting on them (even backwards) to make sure my nose weight is good and to prevent scratching until final flat coat. :)
