The battons are a nice simple to solution to paint bottle/tin storage. The man cave is coming on nicely. What about warmth in the winter? Or is it a REAL man cave? :o)

You will still find this is not big enuff, once you get going, where is the stash going :frantic: with all those paint pots around.

Nice workplace though, plus nice subject matter :yahoo:

Have you got the colour sussed for the interior Vince?

This might be of some help?

Richard that is a wonderful set if pictures many thanks, I especially like the armour plate on the pilots seat, may have to scratch build that.
The pictures have also given me a few other ideas too.
I had originally thought the interior would be various shades of green from a practical solution to the pre coloured etched being almost in a shade of American interior green.
Its not like Uncle Tamiya to get things wrong but I am really not sure about XF22 being the right interior colour either
Many thanks Vince

Hi Vince.

This is a very late Betty, the forward side windows are a give away, check your FAOW, I have that one too. I think the paint is well, Japanese, 50" years old, andthose photosare taken by flash, so they will bring out the lighter hues.
One thing about those Japanese aircraft, is that in many cases sub assemblies were all painted different colours by different suppliers, so a subtle change in colour here and there can be very rewarding.i am not sure if the earlier Bettys have a slighty different interior colour, but let's face it..

Looking forward to seeing more :)

Having been on call out this week, not much time for modelling.

I did manage to complete the guns, sprucing them up with new ammo magazines and gun sights.

Hope that anyone who is going to the Nationals has a great time

Hello folks been very busy at work for the last month, no time to put in any updates.
Also had a bout of man flu where my wife couldn't stop laughing. (No sympathy at all.)

However there was just a little time spare for some detailing on the wheel wells.

I used various sizes of solder given a rub down with scotch brite, this gives a key for the paint to adhere to.

Hope you enjoy.
