Hook down, wheels down... call the ball

Been fiddling away on this recently. Not a kit I would choose to build for myself but I was asked to build it on a commission, so it is nice to see what the kit involves.
My customer wanted strictly out-of-the-box including pilots(something else I would not normally include) and wants the bomb bay closed but gear down, hey, it makes my easier having the bomb doors closed!
I have followed the instructions to the letter and it is a very refreshing experience not to get sidetracked into detailing and/or correcting things.
It really is a super kit so far, I was very impressed when I opened the box, good effort Airfix.

'Whew', Mike you have some shot there in the bow, is this to counter the overall length.

Just following the instructions Foxy, like I said, strictly OOB :D

But yes, it is a tail sitter from what I have managed to glean from t'internet reviews.
TBH there is not THAT much shot in there, i just coated each side with Araldite and dropped the shot in, probably 25-30g all told.

FYI this is the machine I am building, XV250.
Now part of the Yorkshire Air Museum at Elvington, formerly "Maid of Moray"
