As part of my bomber theme for this year, I've been working on the only British land based bomber of WWII to be designed from the outset to have four engines (I think). Surprised at how much bigger it is than either the Lancaster or Halifax. Last time I made this was back in the 60's I think I remember hard black plastic, this release uses grey softer styrene which seems a lot easier to work with. A fair amount of flash but none that makes it too difficult to trim.

Thanks, had a bit of an issue with the Humbrol Hu29, the paint was very viscus, indeed it looked a bit like sludge and had to be thinned quite heavily to get it to flow easily with a paintbrush. However the thinners were affecting the first coat and lifting it, the second coat was better but still very patchy, I was concerned about the number of coats that were going to be required to get a decent finish.

So I put a layer of Klear over the brown before the 3rd coat and it seemed to work as this was the result.

And today two coats of Hu163 have been applied, now just going to get it masked up to get some black on.
