Looking at this now the paint is drying on the SM-1
I feel I need to make another kit which will go together fairly easily. And as I want to make another couple of these as earlier marks with the A2Zee conversions, thought I'd do the first out of the box to 'get the hang of it'

Such a pretty machine.

A man after my own heart!

It's the first time I have had a really good look at an actual kit, although I avidly watched Tony's builds on the other channel, and I'm still surprised there are only 3 sprues plus the transparencies. Even seeing them on the Airfix stand it didn't quite sink in!

The sprues are now primed, and I have done my customary "what the hell colour is that(and have I got it?)" comparisons writing them down so's I don't forget  I've decided which variant I'm going to do, so I've also been through and crossed out the instructions I don't need, so I think I'll get on with it now!

It's a Lynx, it's nout to do with the Italians so it is not an agustaWestland aircraft.

I dare not comment, the punishment would likely be excruciating.
