I seem to remember a while back there was some concern over what would happen to the Dakota that was on display at the 47AD place at Lyneham. Well, I saw it turn up at Brize in pieces last year, and then it went into their brand new hangar while it was still being built. Starting back at work last week I was pleased to see the old girl was back out on display on a purpose built plinthy thing, and by the look of it, has had a re paint into the bargain ![]() ![]() Lets hope the Comet gets a new lease of life somewhere as well.............
