Happy New Year 2All! Have started this one last year, and the kit looks ok the plastic is a bit soft but manageable. This is my second Thud,my first being Trumpeter 1/32 offering it was an enjoyable build but so big and I ending up donating it to my friend because it was just gathering dust in my loft. Being 1/48 its not soo big! And I was inspired last year by a chap at St.Ives model show who had made this kit and had done a wonderful job with quite a host of aftermarket goodues added, aires, wheel bays etc. Anyhow my model has a different selection, because I have used the Eduard prepainted interior with consoles and placards, and have two lovely figures from Pj productions, that I have slightly modified. The cockpit is nearly finished and the gatling gun has been asssembled but what a job in 1/48 very thin gun barrels don't even ask in 1/72 it is not for mere mortals! I think it could be a slow build for me but will persevere as am building on the vehicles section the Tamiya RedBull F1.,please bear with me,pics to follow soon!

Cheers Floyd. Managed to get hold of some Hannants acrylic paint at the Southern Expo show,so this one can spray soon. Does anyone know where u find a Squadron Signal walkaround book of this aircraft? It seems they were around a few years ago and now seemed to have vanished! |

Please be aware that Scribd could well be in breach of Squadron/Signal Publications copyright by making those images available for downloading. peebeep |

Scribd has been taken to task over copyright infringement numerous times, and that looks like photocopy to me. I'm pretty sure squadron don't do digital versions of their books, so this is unlikely to be legit. Rich |

Mike, Scribd are almost certainly in breach of copyright by publishing those pages on line and the person or persons who retain rights to the intellectual property could take action against Scribd or any third parties involved. In light of this I'm going to remove the link. Could we all be very careful about posting links to sites like this, obviously the intention was to be helpful, but it can have unforeseen results. peebeep |
