So having just spent an enjoyable hour or more reviewing everyone elses' year, here's mine....

It's actually been a fairly good year for me, some dramas with paint and decals, but I can see some improvement on last year.

I think I'll say it's all 1:24 unless stated...

The Revell Krupp Titan with some wiring and piping in the engine. I really enjoyed this one

The Aoshima MGB oob Nice build.

Airfix 1:32 Ford Escort. Not an easy one. Mine looks like Mr Jones has just been and collected some crazy paving for his garden. Rear suspension...
Posted Image

Revell's 1:144 Dornier Do.X out of the box (Was built on the Lake, not too far away).
Posted Image

Revell Corvette with added etched from Model Car Garage, but only three wheels.
Posted Image

Monogram Mustang GTP with a little added cabling.
Posted Image

Fisher Porsche 917LH Martini. Decals were a disaster and the wheel fell off.
Posted Image

To try and find some new energy, I then decided to try and clear up some of the half finished kits lying around the place...

Fisher Ferrari 512S Coda Lunga. Vacform glasswork is not my strongpoint, but otherwise a nice build

and just to finish the year off...

Academy 1:8th bike. A fun build once, I got into it. Painted in a similar style to my own old racer.
Posted Image

Revell Porsche 962C. Don't ask how many times I had to repaint this one to get it even half way presentable.
Posted Image

Jaguar XJR9LM No22 from 1988 Le Mans. Matching the decals to the purple paint work is always a drama.

Last up and squeezing in through the door, careful the paint might still be wet!

Dapol (Airfix/Kitmaster..) 00 Scale Battle of Britain Class Biggin Hill. Not accurate, not one of my best, but after 12 Years in build finally finished.
Posted Image

Eduard Spitfire 22. It's probably not an accurate shade of paint, but do you know what... I like it anyway. It's always a shame when these detailed cockpits get shut away....

Thanks for looking.

Super stuff Nick! You've got some lovely stuff in there and some absolutely brilliant looking finishes. Think my fave has got to be the 917 (obviously! but I know how it fought you) with a special mention for the truck - tho' not enough stickers on it for me!

Keep up the good work mate and happy new year to you.

cheers
Rick

Thanks everyone. Glad you liked 'em.

@Rick Stickers - :groan: The 917 is indeed a lovely shaped car. I think it's nicer as LH that as KH.

Cheers,
Nick
