What is the difference between the He51-A and the He51-B apart from "some strengthening" and a letter of the alphabet please?

Not sure what the strengthening is and if it makes any difference in 1/72?
Also is there anything I have missed that might need addressing?

Thanks in advance

The B had twin wire bracing to the undercarriage legs and shackles/plumbing for an external fuel tank. The undercarriage bracing has two fastenings on the outboard side forming a V-shape to a single attachment point about in line with the interplane struts.

Many thanks Paul

I have the old Hase He51-A kit with the wrong instructions and/or decals.
Also now have a ICM He51-B with spare markings.

May be able to scratch the plumbing and tank to make another B or try and get some decals to do an A.

Does anyone have the decal plans for this version please?

or a similar scheme with the single white serial nubers.

Although this also looks tempting

Yes thanks Nick

The decals I have in the Hase kit have white 2 x4 but it looks like only three are needed.
I think I should be able to manage with those pictures!

Might be a little while before I start on them Harriet
Must admit to building subjects purely on aesthetics than any other reason! lol

Melchie was building the Classic Airframes He-51 but the General has gone awol doing other things like pickling turkey wattles ready for chrimbo.
