Right, I have a simple question, which I fear has not got a simple answer ... For the first time I can remember, I have had decals silvering after drying So, my question is, will a coat or two of gloss varnish exacerbate or cure the silvering?Answers on a postcard please

Varnish won't help. The only way you can fix it (possibly) is by getting some decal solution or Klear under the decal. I do this by pricking the decal with a pin or the end of my scalpel and then repeatedly applying a decal set or sol solution until the silvering is gone. If it is really bad I have even sliced lots of cuts into the surface of a decal before, to get the solution under it. Good luck! Jen. |

Thank you both, I've tried a combination of the two and I have now put the bits away to 'cure' again! |
