Hi all,

I know this is an odd question but does anybody know what mix Revell suggest for RAL 7037? I am only interested in the Revell mix as I know the colour is available from other sources.

TIA

Doug.

Is there not a direct match for it in their RAL charts?

Check their website paint charts

Most Revell are matched to a RAL shade.

There isn't a direct match THC it needs a mix

Hooded claw,

no mate there isn't, it's one of those in between colours, it's described as a medium dark grey with a hint of khaki, and even Revell don't have that colour in their range!!! lol. It has been suggested that I use Humbrol 106, but this isn't right to dark even with the Khaki added.

Hi Walrus,

Yep found this review to and very helpful it has been. It seems that the colours used in the Norm 81 scheme are very much down to the modellers interpretation so perhaps I should just go with what I think's right rather than trying to find a ready mixed tin.

Note: Xtrracolor do RAL7036 in enamel but not acrylic so I am informed.

Cheers everybody.

Doug.
