As promised, here's a selection of my shots from this year's Flying Legends. Although numbers of aircraft were down on previous years, the quality was still there in abundance. The undoubted highlight of the show was the first public showing of TFC's newly restored P-47G 'Snafu' which was absolutely magnificent to see in the air at last having seen the restoration progress over the last few years. Displays of the day however went to the trio of Curtiss fighters and Yaks, which did a tidy spot of hedge trimming down on the tank bank- plenty of low, fast, close passes to keep us occupied and/or ducking for cover!

Onto the pics, with a few people shots from the flightline walk, one of my favourite aspects of Legends

There were also three Mk I Spitfires on show; probably the first time three have flown together since 1940. Pretty special I reckon.

Cheers guys :)

Harriet, the funny looking thing is a Sikorsky S.38. The aircraft is currently on a world tour, having appeared at numerous events across Europe over the last couple of years. An interesting aircraft, but fugly as hell!
