Do you have a 'best side'?; Which way round for displaying.

Just curious if some of you end up not knowing which way round to display your models in your cabinet, like me.

What I mean is, with my F1 builds, I usually end up with a few more imperfections on one side of the car than the other, and that determines how I display them.

Sometimes, I cannot decide which is the 'best side' and which isn't, as the imperfections seem to be about equal (you'll gather that although I strive for absolute perfection, I never achieve it!).

Do those of you who build aircraft, tanks, ships, road cars etc end up with the same dilemna?

Mine are just as bad, whichever side you look at them from!

Yes. I often look at a model afterwards and try to decide which way round it should go, or whether it goes at the front, or at the back of the shelf. Funnily enough, it's become harder since I started posting, because the photos I take show up all those minor errors, that maybe I wouldn't really pay any attention to 'in real life'.

My biggest challenge is not so much displaying, but accepting my own level and being pleased with what I've built, especially when there's so many great modellers and builds on this site and the rest of the web.

Cheers,
Nick
