Not an A4 expert, but I recall the biggest difference between the A and the B was the rudder (enclosed on the A, ribs on the outside B onwards) and possibly the shape of the nose, as well as the AAR stuff. Diff between the P and Q was mainly some antennae, weapon load and cololur scheme |

Thanks again Dave Will try and do some research. iirc the Fujimi might be a C Wonder if or how long it will be before Xtradecals do some Argentinian markings. The Aztec and Condor sets seemed to be hard to come by. |

Have been looking at my decals and the Argentine markings I have are pretty much the same as those in the Airfix kit. The decals from the Falklands Set are for a CANA aircraft based on the 25th de Mayo, and therefore an A-4Q. So looks like I will be doing a conversion from the new kit when it comes out. Hopefully a conversion that even I could manage  |

Fujimi did a B and a C, although only the B came with Argentine (A-4Q iirc) markings. The B was the first time I can recall seeing 'make this part yourself' instructions in a mainstream kit (For the antennae and the avionics bump on top the fuselage) |

A long time ago! The instructions are copyrighted 1988, I probably bought it shortly after it was released. peebeep |

The Fujimi A-4 is an absolute gem, just be prepared to glue the refuelling probe back on about 70 zillion times during the build ![]() Jen. |

Why do they insist on putting afterburner on A-4 Boxart from those far eastern kit manufacturers? |

I ain't no jet jock but I can see there might be a scenario where you were dog-fighting at low energy, so the burner might be engaged even with the brakes deployed. I didn't think the Scooter was fitted with a burner! peebeep |

You scare me! I got two when they were new, still in the stash! For some reason, I also have an OA4M, an A-4M, and A4E. |

Um, yes, it's called Red Tails. It features some very unfeasible looking CGI, although at least the 109's are 'proper'. Cracking artwork from Adam Tooby. peebeep |
