Nice selection of new tooling in the aircraft section this year but nothing that grabs me by the throat! (Will the Spitfire 22 be Airfix tooling or a re-box of the Xtrakit?) However, I'm mightily pleased to see the 1/12 Bentley back! I used to have one until the Opposition and I kid you not, decided that it wasn't worth keeping and threw it out! It still rankles 26 years later... |

It's my understanding that the Spitfire is Airfix tooling and not a re-box from another manufacturer. If it's using the same data as the 1/48 kit there should be much rejoicing. peebeep |

I see from the 2012 Airfix catalogue that the new tool 1/72 Me 109E-4 comes with markings for Franz von Werra! Must have!

Well would really like to see some of the ships introduced to 1/350 scale Greta though they are in there oldie scale. Having built one in 1/350 scale maybe the oldie Aircraftcarriers like the one's that carriered the oldie torpedo aircraft. HMS ARKROYAL springs to mind Edited by foxy, Feb 9 2012, 12:34 AM.

I had a look at the Spitfire 22 at Yeovilton today, looks very impressive. Those trailing edges must be some of the finest I've ever seen. Cheers, Bill. |

Yes, they just keep getting better. My eyes are not too good anymore and the lighting in Yeovilton is awfulf, but I got the impression that those "trademark" panel lines are getting finer. |
