Got my first ever Angel yesterday Snap fitted the parts to gether then noticed a problem with the fin root intakes. Is this a common problem or is mine an un typical miscast please. ![]() Don't want to bother Mr Airfix if they are all the same. Thanks ps Not sure it is a series 2 kit though can live with that. But the pilot??? They could at least have got the gender correct

That looks like a short shot moulding. The pilot is the standard jet jobbie I presume? peebeep |

Thanks Paul That is correct, or at least I presume he is a jet pilot. It is the one with crossed legs so not operating the rudder pedals and may be flying a helicopter? Have been looking at some of the clips on Youtube and the cockpit is very roomy The Airfix one is too small or the Anderson airframe is too big! Guess they need space for the strings lol |

LOL, the standard joke in the pilot community is that jet jocks don't actually know what the rudder pedals are for, apart from steering on the ground. A helo driver would most certainly have both feet firmly planted on the pedals! peebeep |

lol Wasn't sure if helicopters had pedals or not (now have mental image of Heath-Robinson contraption with the pilots pedalling furiously to get the rotors going )I like the little acknowledgement on the colour/decal placing page thanking Col. White and all on Skybase for their help with producing the kit! |

Wow Just discovered something amazing with the references to lancasters and Captain Scarlet! The original puppet version character of Lieutenant Green was voiced by Cy Grant Grant was a navigator on Lancs during the Battle of the Ruhr, shot down and captured.

Noticed that the starboard fuselage half is pock marked all over with sink holes as well, whereas the port half is crisply moulded Was thinking the same Rich but there goes the quick fun OOB I was hoping for! Might start of scratching Destiny in 1/72
