Looks good to me! http://www.ipmsdeutschland.de/FirstLook/Revell/Preview_Rev_Halifax/Preview_Rev_Halifax.html I'm guessing a release in time for Telford is looking somewhat ambitious?

From all the parts that are showing up on the sprues, there should be enough for four or five versions. That's before the aftermarket boys start chucking stuff at it. The big question is, will they make a subsequent release with radial engines? peebeep |

Paul - you're going to like this ... I remember building an Airfix Halifax uh hum years ago - I do think it's a really nice wingy thingy! |

Looks nice, thanks for the link. It looks to me that it has both nose types, which is cool as to me the earlier Manchester style nose looks better. |

Looking at the glazing sprue, it seems that the turreted nose, fully glazed nose and possibly a "HP Halton" style faired nose is included! May have to sell my Matchbox kits and replace them with a couple of these. What chance of the Stirling next? As for the Airfix Halifax, in my stash with a set of Paragon Hercules engines to replace the kit supplied engines and nacelles, am I mad? Edited by Tony C, Oct 26 2011, 10:56 PM.

Surprising really that it's taken somebody so long to do a modern kit of the Halifax. Revell and Airfix really are ruling the roost when it comes to new subjects recently. |

It would certainly be on my list if it were released at Telford (well it is anyway, but you know what I mean). I too prefer the Manchester type nose and inline engines, so couldn't be happier at this choice of first release ![]() Jen. |
