Afternoon all,

Spent a thoroughly enjoyable day at Brunty yesterday for the first open day of the year. An awesome experience as ever, the appearance of the Vulcan was a treat, but the real highlight for me was the trio of Buccs running together, a truly fantastic sight B)

Here's a few of shots from the day, more can be found on my Flickr

Seemed an amazingly sucessful day Shaun, and I noted that you were probably an arms reach from my Son Dean who was also there, judging by some of your photo's.

Great shots Shaun! You have certainly got an eye for some very cool photos. I am green with envy with the Buccs!

Cheers fellas, glad you like them

Gary, it was hugely successful, I've never seen the place so packed! I guess they call that the VUlcan effect. I saw Dean's shots, very impressive. I may well have been stood next to him on that taxiway, but wouldn't have known it!

Thought I might as well add a few more shots that took my fancy :D

Cheers Calum

Excluding the Vulcan, everything you seen on the deck is based at Brunty. There are also a handful of other aircraft there, including a fourth Bucc that has recently arrived and a Sea Vixen. I think the plan is to get both of those in running condition someday. These events are held on the bank holiday weekends at the end of May and August, so if you're trip coincides with those times, I'd highly recommend a visit :)
