Evening all,

With the USS George W Bush over to play, I spent a slow but productive day at Yeovilton today to take advantage of my only likely chance to catch the supporting Greyhounds during their 2 week stay at the local. Of the two aircraft, one remained hangared all day, but the other departed around 12:15, before returning again around 14:45. A C-26 also arrived and departed either side of the C-2s arrival. Very nice to see both of them, especially on a Sunday, so I didn't shy away from taking a fair number of pics. I think Mike might enjoy these B)

Great pics Sean - lets hope someone pumps one of these out in 1/48 to go with the Tracker & Hawkeye.

Fantastic shots Shaun, as usual. Thanks for sharing.

@Gary - Kinetic have one in the pipeline, kinda makes sense given their Hawkeye toolings.

Cheers lads, glad they were of interest :)

AKAIK the C-2s should be operating from VL until the 3rd June daily, although that seems to conflict with the carrier docking at Portsmouth on the 27th :hmm: I've heard a rumour there are 8 Hornets expected into VL on Tuesday as well, though unfortunately I won't be able to get there, as much as I'd love to :( Lyneham had a rather fetching CAG bird from VFA-87 in at the weekend though, along with a couple others, so it's all exciting stuff down here in the SW :)

Apparently, Raymond Chung said recently, that it was a strong possibility.............
