Here is the latest batch of commission builds which I am fitting in whilst doing the Stuart. The Hetzer is Tamiya's 1/35th item and was assembled in an afternoon. Near perfect fit all round. The Quad trailers are Dragon 1/35th items and are a joy to build. Taking again about 3 hours to build. Detail is superb especially the 50 cal's. One will be in towed configuration and the other in firing configuration.

been working hard on these lately, as usual a tight deadline needs to be met. The Hetzer has been painted with tamiya colours and masked with a mixture of tape and silly putty to achieve the hard edged pattern.

The quad guns have had the basic colour applied

And whilst I was at it I re-sprayed three metal 1/30th guns for my client, these will be a one off

Now I need to start weathering the models so it's off to the bench!

More for you, got a bit of a shock today as the deadline for these models has now moved to next Friday! The artillery guns have been finished today so at least I can concentrate all my energy's on the Hetzer and quad guns.

Cheers Steve, after a flurry of activity the Hetzer is now finished, process was chipping with a brush and sponge, filters then oils fading followed by a matt varnish and finally pigments plus metallic areas.

I did not think at one point that I would get the faded look required but a couple of coats of mig filters grey for bright green did the job. Very happy with the result especially in the timescale I need to get these models finished by. Next will be the two quad guns.

cheers guys, don't know about thriving under the pressure! well I have finally finished the quads, long nights at the bench have paid dividends. usual process for me of chipping with sponges, filters, pin washes and mig pigments. The winter white wash was done using the hairspray method.
