Hey everyone. Here are a few pics from our day out to Luke AFB this past Saturday. After waiting in line for 2 hours to finally get in, we were treated to the most underwhelming static display I have seen in ages. Not much in the way of cool stuff for sure. No Strike Eagles, No Hornets (except one F/A-18F), no Harriers. Mostly Helicopters, WWII stuff and a lineup of ZVipers that are based at Luke. There was a B-1B and an E-3 but not much else. Quite the disappointment. Luckily the flying display was good even though the weather was a bit cloudy and windy which casued for some hazy shots and some specks on my sensor from changing lenses. :(

I didnt shoot anything on static at all. In fact, I didnt take many pics at all due to the conditions and frankly, I wanted to have fun with Colin. Here are a few that I got.

Looks like you guys had a topping day! Some good flying as well, F-4s are a pretty dim memory over here now. I bet that poor little P-40 was on the red line!

We were joking about whether the P-40 would blow a motor or the Phantom would go Bingo fuel first! :wicked:

The P-40 did a nice aerobatic routine as well. Sounded great.......not as good as the Phantom of course but great anyway!!
