The gun rack between the seats is a bit wrong, so Ive made a bit of a rehash .
A few pieces from a yogurt pot
Those guns are incredible detailed the kind you would expect from a resin kit ,and they need a clean up.

Great build, looking forward to seeing some paint on it.

Looks like a very sweet kit. Might have to go on my birthday list! :wicked:

Steve

Thanks for looking in. ;)

The more I look else where on the dark side the more I find that is inherently wrong with the kit. :wooo:
Thats if we are to believe those that split hairs right down to the last rivet.
However the kit builder has to make decisive decisions as to what is relevant and that which is not ,other wise he aint ever going to finish .
So allthough there may be many changes and errors. Im going to have to scrub round them so as to actually get some where with the build. And forgo accuracy and go for completion.
From what Ive seen its quite amazing just how many mistakes there are ,the most blatent is the gun rack in that the picture on the front of the box shows the Sa80 gun sticking out horizontal (whats holding them up ). :bouncy:
The rear seat is on the wrong side etc etc
So it makes you wonder what did the makers use to model the kit ?
So the individual is left with a dilema as to crack on or redesign the kit from scratch . :halo:
Cracking on

hello Foxy
I find that with all acylic paints including Vellajo air that it is neccessary to mix with water from anything from 50 /50 downwards.I use ironised water.
If the paint is not good and runny it can dry in the needle point of your airbrush and then you are going nowhere.
The green paint looks shiny becuase it has Klear on it.
Today I may give another wash ,let it dry and then spend all day with a cotton bud and clean it all off. "And get in to all those important little places".Spit is the best medium for removing wash

Ive fixed the engine to the body.
Ive also made a rack that goes on the bonnet where the spare wheel was meant to go .Just need to find a bit of netting to finish off the rack plus two strap on the front of the bonnet.

Great work Eldo matey.

I see they still use the booster box on the fenders to up power the range for the radio's.

Used to give you a shock if you were handleing the mast while transmiting :wooo: .

Very smart indeed and coming along fine.
