looks very nice indeed love the colour, noticed the two hammers on your shed wall. Are these failed project erasers!! :D

Thanks Pete,

Project eraser's? Now there's a thought! :wicked:

The colour has come out far better than I thought it would. In daylight it looks even better!

Hope to have the decals and weathering done by tomorrow, then its finished and onto the next one

Regrads,

Steve

How do chaps,

Managed to get some 'stickers' on it this afternoon. Nothing too fancy, just some red/white/red flashes, census numbers and a couple of other bits and bobs.

The census numbers came from an old Tamiya Cromwel sheet, and the flashes and squadron signs came from a Bison Decals sheet for the Sherman in Italy.

I know that some may say 'thats not right for' and so on, but its meant to be a general vehicle. So to all you rivet counters out there I say... :butt:

The detail painting was done with Games Workshop paints, which i'm fast becomming a fan of, as they dry fast and the colour is good.

A wash to follow then a bit of light weathering and some detail painting on the tracks and I reakon its done.

More to follow soon,

Regards,

Steve

Just occured to me, with those flashes on it looks like a recruiting tank for the Peruvian Army!!! :wooo:

Hi Steve.

Nice one matey, I see you went for the MG in lower mount.

Looking very good.

Them gamesworkshop paints be the best in my opinion :wooo: , but it all depends on what subject your aiming for.

You should get a vent(outlet) or a window to open for them fume's lol.

How do chaps,

Been tinkering with the weathering today, and this is where I'm at.

The weathering has mainly been a couple of washes with Games Workshop Badab Black and Devlan Mud, which is a mucky brown colour. The model was also given a light drybrush of GW Khemri Brown, which is almost identical in colour to Humbrol Dark Earth. A light dusting of MIG Industrial City Dirt was applied into the nooks and crannies where dust might gather.

Just the tracks to sort and a drybrush on the wheels, then a blast of matt varnish and its done.

Comments welcome.

More to follow soon,

Regards,

Steve
