Hi Ian,

I recieved the mask set for the 43Sqn FG1 the other day and was wondering if there is supposed to be a pic of the Phantom with the masks or an instruction sheet showing the placement of the masks..

Cheers

Hi Neil,

I'm glad that the masks arrived safely.

There is no photo of the Phantom or a placement diagram currently included with the sheets although there are instuctions on how to apply them.

We are in the process of creating profiles for each of the schemes that our masks enable the modeller to paint, as you can see from the post above. These profiles are available (and are downloadable) from our website.

When the profile for the chequered spine 43 Sqn Phantom FG.1 is completed I'll send you a high resolution copy to assist in your placement of the masks. In the interim if you have any specific placement questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Best regards,

Ian

Funnily enough I have more or less the same request only mine is relating to an old car kit decal.

Oh and have you considered masks for car kit, F1 type subjects with complex basic colour schemes. Take a look at the Tamiya 1/20th Bennetton B188 for instance.

Regards

Hi Simon,

yes we could make the masks for you. Straightforward 1/32nd scale mask designs are US$10.00 plus US$5.00 shipping and handling (total US$15.00). If you send a scan of the decals to us at custom@adastramasks.com we can take a look at the complexity of the design and provide a more precise quote.

Best regards,

Ian

THC,

Yes we can do that for you, please send a scan of the decals to us at custom@adastramasks.com and we'll let provide a quote. Depending on the complexity of the design it should cost around US$12.50 plus US$7.50 shipping and handling (totalUS$20.00) for a 1/20th scale mask set.

Funnily enough, I was discussing F1 car masks sets with my partner only yesterday. As above, send us the details of any scheme you require and we'll design the masks set for you.

Best regards,

Ian
