Thought you guys might like to see some shots from yesterdays Air Day down at Culdrose, where we were given the rare treat of some sunshine! Pretty rare for an Air Day

Very nice, thanks for posting.

Didn't realise there was a Wasp still flying on the airshow circuit. Nice shots of the Mustang  and the Seafire  in particular, but all good!

Bloody hell matey....those shots are so sharp that you could cut your fingers on them...absolutley brilliant technique (look and learn happy snappers, this guy is good).

I'm lucky enough to have caught sight of 558 as she approached Lyneham at 16.30 (ish) on the homeward leg (approx 1000 ft) and still at pace....what a sight!

Thanks for sharing Shaun.....youda man!

Many thanks for the comments guys, much appreciated

Mike, there's actually two Wasps currently airworthy and displaying. I believe both are operated out of North Weald by Kennet Aviaiton. Very nice they are too, lovely sound :D

Rich, you're too kind mate  I was getting calls from family and friends as she made her way down to Culdrose- My Mum had her fly low over work, the first time she had seen her in the best part of 20 years, which put a big smile on her face. I believe they call it the Vulcan effect B)

I've gone through a load more shots so here's a handful more, the rest can be found on Flickr
