Well as it's the weekend, obviously I've been to an airshow!

This time, just a small event down the road at Branscombe on the South Devon coast. Rather than boring you all with yet more pics, thought I'd just post a few of the star of the day, and my absolute favourite Hunter

Lovely, lovely, lovely! I do like the old jets!

I took some more piccies of what we could see of Farnborough, but doubt if there will be any keepers! It has been such a long time since I used to get up at ungodly o'clock to get to airshows and practice my photography, that they will undoubtedly be mostly rubbish! And they were 35mm too!
You say that you tried to give up RAW, well (confession time here) I took a load of photos 2 years ago at Silverstone which I've only just been able to do anything with because I had neither the software or the hardware that was good enough ... It was memory lane time when I got to look at them recently!
So, I shall sit back and enjoy your piccies, mine don't come anywhere near. Please keep it up!

Great pics Shaun!

There is absolutely no need to spend hard earned on image editing software when you can download Irfanview as a freebie. It will handle all the basic tasks of image editing and open RAW files. If you want bells and whistles you can either get the various plug-ins or fork out for other software, although I managed to download a freeware copy of Paint Shop Pro X which is as good as certain other programmes that cost quite a lot to buy.

And yes, you will need a fairly good spec machine to handle RAW files.
