Evening all,

Spent a sweltering day at Biggin Hill yesterday for my first air fair in 10 years. Thought the show was fantastic, with a full and varied line up- especially good to see such a full participation from the RAF once more, especially the Harrier, which is a display I've missed over the last few years. Shooting got trickier as the day went on and the sun moved in front, and I struggled badly during the BoB sequence, which was a superb set piece. Not sure I've seen so many Spitfires and Hurricanes at the same show away from Duxford.

A fantastic selection Shaun. My lad Dean (J35 Draken on UKAR) went and said that photography was a tad tricky because of conditions - not that you would guess it from your pics.

Lovely pics Shaun. I used to go every year, always the same with the sun as the afternoon went on. You'd hear peeps moaning about getting silhouettes all the time.

Now, I wonder who will be first to release those decals for the F-16? :hmm:

Thanks very much chaps :)

Gary, I spotted Dean's thread over on UKAR, he's a very talented photographer. I was using the same lens as him, so it's reassuring to know I wasn't the only one struggling with it :D

Mike, it is a problem from a photography point of view. By 3 o'clock, I was really struggling with getting the exposure set up right, especially for the warbirds, so most of my photos from the BoB tribute are unusable. In the end I gave up, but that wasn't such a bad thing in retrospect as I could sit back and enjoy the set piece B)

Oh, and my money would be on Revell ;)

Here's a few more shots that took my eye, plenty more on my Flickr :)
