Well got some primer on well Revell 57 Grey to be exact ..found that I need to do a tiny bit of filling on the back but noting major
So last night while a load of idiots were kicking a ball around I concentrated on this ..got all the wheels done and did some minor painting of the rubber tracks ..got one side on so far

Sean your tracks are starting to look nice, just needs some pencil graphite rubbed on the raised metal areas of the tracks.

the old hb should work, i use a 4b pencil as the graphite is a lot softer and goes on easier.
you may have to rub the pencil on some paper, then rub it onto the tracks with your finger or a cotton bud.

And CAD wasn't quite invented
We used to draw
With pencil in paw

Amazing the amount of powder you could generate with a Staedtler clasp pencil and rotary sharpener:

Is there a market for this stuff in little sachets? I've got an old 35mm cassette thingy full of it. Making more would be easy peasy.

  very nice Sean!!! If you brush paint 2 of the 3 colours, it would look much better. I did airbrush Leopard II A5 and it does not look right when all colours are freehand airbrushed. I do know from the real world that the colours are brush painted on, so just an tip of advice.

Looking good Sean!! Make sure you make it dirty!! Real world the MBT's are painted by the troops, so just like the Navy jets, you see many spots all over the vehicle. But you are getting there Sean! B)

Well bit of hit and miss on the paints ..for the Brown and Black I used Tamiya NATO Brown XF 68 and NATO Black XF 69 , did a bit of dry-brushing with Revell aqua 9 ..The green was Revell Aqua 65 Bronze Green and a bit of over-spray with Tamiya 67 NATO Green ...Just currently painting in the lenses with a mixture of Smoke and clear blue Blue ...as most of the real ones look this colour

To me it looks spot on! I can't see the colours and mix them up when I see them up close. Some time ago I did see an new kit on the PZH and transporter as well, not sure which scale but I think it was 72nd.
