Stolen idea from a 'You Tuber'. Clear straws are very handy for transferring paint from a tin or jar into a mixing jar or onto a palette. Insert the straw into the paint and put your finger over the top end, then lift out. Take your finger off the top end to let the paint flow out....simples! You can get a box of 1000 8" straws for about £6 (inc P+P) off the bay of evil, then cut these in half to make a very cost effective way to ease paint mixing. Another good idea for these straws is to drink alcohol through them. Apparently it has four times the effect than that of drinking from a glass which makes for a cost effective way of getting mullered. |

Straws are ok but I have a much better solution. I bought 100 plastic Pippettes off of Ebay a few weeks back for £2. You can use them more than once if you clean them out. They will last me a couple of years easily
