I'd be interested to hear from my learned friends which acrylic or acrylic mix you use to depict RAF High Speed Silver. I'm not going down the Alclad route due to space restrictions and my well being! Discussion invited and welcomed. Thanks in anticipation. |

Games Workshop Mithril Silver:![]() Thinned with window cleaner and sprayed beautifully in a very thin coat, but quite fragile, although it was probably my fault that some of it lifted when the masking came off due to insufficient de-greasing prior to painting. Glossed with Klear for decalling then flattened back with Klear + Tamiya Flat Base. I still prefer enamels and I now have some Alclad in my possession to try out. peebeep |

Endorse the Mithril Silver, but it thins beautifully 50:50 with distilled water, no need for nasty chemicals.
