Is Humbrol HU 116 Us Dk Green a good match,for WW2 RAF Dk Green ??

116 and 163 are just about perfect. The only really difference I can detect between them is that 116 is matt and 163 satin. I tend to use 163 as it is less affected by gloss coats prior to decalling.

something you may find interesting - my company gave us all boxes of business cards to give out as appropriate, but cocked mine up so they had to be redone. So now, whenever I have a 'tin' of paint open I paint the plain back one of these spare cards and leave a band at the bottom to write in the paint number, brand and colour description.

Before you know it you have a good selection of swatches to enable you to compare and contrast different shades of colour by different manufacturer etc.
I keep all the greys together, and greens, browns etc. and will eventually mount them on larger bits of card for quick reference.
