By posting, you agree to abide by the following rules. Staff reserve the right to update these rules when they see fit. When updates are made, these updates will be posted in Inkslinger Publication. Staff also reserve the right to give warnings and suspensions if necessary. All staff reserve the right to edit topics, posts, avatars, signatures, and profiles. You will be notified if this happens. Staff All decisions by staff are NOT final. The administrators and staff of Inkslinger forums sometimes may mistakes when handing out punishments or when doing their moderation duties on the board. If you feel you have been wrongly punished by a staff member, please PM them or the administrator. Please do not PM to request a staff position. There is an application in the Inkslinger Publication forum and directions for applying. Please use this. General Member Guidelines The general rating of the board is PG-13. The writing forums have their own rating so please read the writing guidelines. One of the most important rules is to respect one another and respect the forum. Every human being deserves respect and should abide by the Golden Rule. Respect can include but is not limited to: no spamming, bumping topics, flaming, bashing, and double posting. Also, when commenting on another's work, please be respectful. Inkslinger forums does not tolerate discrimination. This means that topics containing comments pertaining to racism, sexism, religious discrimination and any other type of discrimination will not be tolerated. Post Content* Profanity is allowed but not in excess. There is no advertising in any forums except Submit Your Site. You may advertise in your signature. Double posting is allowed in writing forums. (Please read writing guidelines for more information.) Posting of illegal content will not be tolerated. Illegal content includes but is not limited to: pornography, illegal downloading sites, warez, roms, CD-Keys, cracks, passwords, serial numbers, hacking information, and information which infringes upon any copyrights. Signatures & Avatars Please keep all signatures reasonable. Remember, some members may have dial up. Do not make your signature so large it stretches the board. Please keep all avatars reasonable also. No adult content is allowed in signatures and avatars. Any signatures or avatars containing adult content will be removed and the user will be warned. You may advertise in your signature. *Consequences* Consequences will be dependent upon the rule broken. If you feel the consequence was greater than the offense, please PM the administrator.
