What does it matter - the tap is nearby! :goofy_grin: (ok, so I kind of stole that thought from Berthold Gunster, who wrote a management book on the technique of taking a new approach to things. Great book - have only read the first few pages and already like it.)

Do you confirm or deny you're crazy? :bigsmile:

Not sure. If in doubt look for in the dictionary.
Results for crazy. Crazy was found in the Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary at the entries listed below.

* crazy adjective NOT SENSIBLE (I'm not)
* crazy adjective ANGRY: (I'm not now)
* crazy noun: a person who behaves in a way that is stupid or not sensible, especially one who is mentally ill. (I don't feel myself like that.)
* crazy paving noun (no)
* stir-crazy adjective (sometimes)
* drive sb mad/crazy, etc. (sometimes)
* be as crazy/rich, etc. as they come (I'm not sure)
* be crazy about sb/sth (absolutely)
* like crazy (sometimes)

Conclusion: Crazy is not a permanent state in my personality. Sometimes events, people, behaviors ... lead me to crazy. My reaction is like a firecracker: when someone turn on me, I explode with lots of noise and then I turn off.
I've answered your question, Z? :goofy_grin:

Can we expect a story about Clint/ Nancy or Jack/Sue preparing a Thesis or no? :bigsmile:

:rofl: :bellylaugh: Yes, that more than answered my question. :giggling:

Eh, I think not - I think once the thesis is done, I don't want to hear about it for a while. ;)

Sticky notes or a note-block?

We use many sheets of printed paper. Those that we don't need, we reuse. I cut some of them into small pieces and we can reuse.
On my desk there are sticky notes, note-blocks, pieces of paper, reused paper, envelopes...anything where you can write! :hanghead:

Usually I choose books by intuition, unless I've gotten a recommendation. :goofy_grin:

Every day I'm learning new things reading books, journals, articles, speaking and listening to people, playing in i2eye... :goofy_grin:
I learn by following lessons too. This year I followed two courses: a school project management and another for using whiteboards. :hmmm:

Buy books or borrow books at the library?

:bellylaugh: Wow, Teresa, that's great! You really did your research!

I prefer to buy books. I haven't been to the library in a while (though I do like going to the library and checking out books). Part of my reason for preferring to buy books is that it tends to take me a while to read a book. Often times I get sidetracked. So usually I don't get finished with books checked out from the library in time. Plus, if I really like a book, I like to own it so I can re-read it anytime I feel like.

Wake up with alarm or without alaram?

Tracy, Z is preparing a thesis, it seemed more appropriate to make a response to her level. I couldn't answer simply yes or not. :goofy_grin:

I have the same problem as you with the books and I buy too.

My alarm is set at 6am, but I get up at 5 without alarm. :dunno:

First you you wake up, after, you get up and then: shower or coffee / tea?

Haha, very considerate of you Teresa. :lol:

Eh, I get a shower once every two days, so on one day I'll get up, get dressed, get food which includes tea actually (ha, surprised you, didn't I! :goofy_grin: ). The other day I'll get up, take a shower, get dressed, get food which still includes tea. Unless I wake up very late, then I'll take coffee.

Wake up and then get coffee/tea or first get coffee/tea and then wake up? :goofy_grin:

Someone has influenced you with tea? ;)

I open my eyes and drink water. I'll stay five minutes in bed, mentally organizing my day. :hmmm: I get up, get dressed in a tracksuit, I go downstairs and go to the garden with dogs. Minutes after I prepare an espresso with a little milk. I leave the coffee in my office, I start my computer and I go to begin laundry. After, I sit at the computer drinking coffee. :morning:
My only coffee of the day. At work I usually drink tea. From the afternoon I only drink herbal tea or rooibos. :bigsmile:

In new situations, you adapt easily or bother you?

Haha, well, let's put it this way:
When I was about 2 years old, my mother would sometimes let me drink coffee with loads of cream (it was really mostly cream with a bit of coffee). Then at some point, I made the transition to tea (with sugar). After having been on a sailing camp when I was thirteen or so, the sugar somehow always was on the other side of the tent, and you'd have to shout across the space to ask them to please pass it on. I got fed up with that, and instead decided to drink my tea without sugar... and I liked it! So from that moment on I drank my tea without sugar.
About a year and a half afterwards, I was part of the staff for our yearly church camp, and they would have to make tea just for me. So I decided that was nonsense, especially since I'd drunk coffee when I'd been so young, so I started drinking coffee again. From that point onwards, I usually still stuck to drinking tea in the morning, coffee at coffee time, milk or coffee at lunch time, tea later in the afternoon, coffee after dinner, and sometimes tea just before I go to bed.
For both coffee and tea applies: strong please!

Hihi, it's funny to see a Dutch/Afrikaans word like 'rooibos' pop up. I wonder how y'all pronounce it...

Now to answer the actual question :P :
I tend to dislike change upfront, but once the new situation is there, I adapt quite easily. (Move to France at age 15, sure, why not? :lol: )

Do you like your coffee/tea very strong or not?
