It's funny how most people assume all women love to shop.
We have quite a few here who don't! :wave_hi:
I absolutely loathe clothes shopping!

Generally - tape it and watch it later because you can speed through commercials. :P

:hmmm: I can't choose! I love soup, but I also love salad...
Guess I'll go for soup, although it really just depends on what I feel like having.

:duh: flats=apartments

Tracy, how do you it? :P

If I wear something formal as a dress, suit jacket with skirt or pants I wear high heeled shoes. If I wear casually, flat shoes or with a heel not too high.

 No, not here. Here flats = shoes without a high heel

I refuse to wear high heels - they are a form of torture. :yikes:

Shirts with short sleeves. No one (including myself) wants to see me in something sleeveless :bitenails:

Dutch can sail everywhere, they not need to love the sea.

Mediterranean people love the sea. There are wonderful places to walk near the sea.

What do you think about mushroom and parsley soup? :giggling: (and you can add some garlic too).

Well I do love the typical winter soup we have here, pea soup. Or as Wikipedia says:
Wikipedia

Erwtensoep, also called "snert", is the Dutch version of pea soup. It is a thick stew of green split peas, different cuts of pork, celeriac or stalk celery (Apium graveolens var. dulce), onions, leeks, carrots, and often potato. Slices of rookworst (Dutch smoked sausage) are added a few minutes before serving. The soup, which is traditionally eaten during the winter, is emblematic of Dutch cuisine.

Now, there are several versions of this pea soup. You have the one you buy in cans, all ready to eat. Yuk.
BUT, the other version, homemade, especially by my grandma: YUM!
Once a year, when the southern part of the Netherlands celebrates Carnaval, the whole family gathers at my grandparents' home (they live in the south) and we watch the Carnaval parade, then have a slice of pie (Z: vlaai), followed by dinner. The pea soup made by my grandma is the starter, followed by the main course: pancakes! Desert is usually some kind of ice cream.
When I was much younger, I did not like the pea soup at all! (Which I considered a good thing, because then I could eat more pancakes!) But every year, I was told to try at least a little bit of the soup.... somehow at some point I started to like it after all and by now I usually refill my bowl! :giggling:

Anyhow,

Kitchen or Bathroom renovation?

And you missed it two years ago! :sigh: Not the ice cream :comfort:

Being 20 you are much older!

No renovations for now! Although I'd like some changes in the kitchen.

Crab. I haven't had lobster very often and don't really think it's worth the extra cost when crab is as good in my opinion.

Potatoes. French fries are better than fried carrots, I guess.

It depends which I am in the mood for...personally I'd prefer chocolate covered peanuts over either. :D If I had to choose now, I'd say popcorn.

Does a quite weekend exist? I don't remember one in my long life.
Actually I don't remember a week, a weekend or a day absolutely quiet. I'd say that every day is busy and full of unexpected events.
