Beast Loci Battle
Cost: 2000 Mana
An opportunity to fight and tame a Beast Loci, gaining an NPC ally, expanding your territory, and accessing a new element.

[Element] Upheaval, level 1
Cost: 100 Mana per level
Acres: 0
Technique
Basic Loci attack. Draws out a mass of the specified element and throws it at the target. Some elements (such as Rock, Water, or Lava) can be drawn from any surface (the ground, walls, the sides of buildings, etc.), while others require the element to be present already (Shadows or Air), but only certain elements can be summoned spontaneously (such as Light). Each level this is upgraded is one additional mass that can be drawn out per turn, or increases the size of a single mass.

[Element] Barrier, level 1
Cost: 150 Mana, 100 Mana per level
Acres: 10
Technique
Creates a wall out of the specified element. Similar to Upheaval, except the wall is immobile and stands up to repeated attacks. Each level increases the amount of punishment the wall can withstand or the size of the wall. Half-domes can be created at level 2, and full domes at level 4.

[Element] Rain, level 1
Cost: 750 Mana, 500 Mana per level
Acres: 40
Technique
Causes the chosen element to fall from the sky for three turns. This ability cannot be used for another three turns. Each level increases the duration by one turn, as well as the cool-down. Name may be changed for certain elements given that it makes more sense, such as “Hail” instead of “Ice Rain.”

Quicksand, level 1
Cost: 300 Mana, 250 Mana per level until level 3, 400 Mana per level until level 6, 600 Mana per level from then on.

Technique
Softens the ground beneath the target. Unless they immediately move or otherwise counter the effect, they will sink into the ground and become stuck in place. Each level increases the size and depth of the quicksand. Level 1 requires a movement action to free oneself, while level 3 requires a full-round action. At level 6, the target is dragged down so deep, they can’t make any attacks or other actions until they free themselves. At level 10, it takes one turn to free oneself enough to act, and another turn to actually get out.

Fog, level 1
Cost: 250 Mana, 200 Mana per level until level 5, 300 per level after that.

Technique
Creates a cloud of particulate matter three meters wide that is difficult to see through. Each level increases the diameter by three meters and reduces the visibility further. At level 5, the Fog gains the [Element] suffix and causes ongoing damage to anyone inside it.

[Element] Forge, level 1
Cost: 500 Mana, 200 Mana per level
Acres: 15
Technique
Summons a mighty weapon made from the chosen element. Must be a melee weapon. Each level allows the weapon to become larger, more powerful, and more ornate. Alternatively, the user may summon an additional weapon with each level. Doing both diminishes the power of each weapon.

[Element] [Creature] Nest, level 1
Cost: 800 Mana, 250 Mana per level
Acres: 10, grows 5 Acres per level
Structure
Select a creature upon purchase. Nests for flying or large creatures may be more expensive. Allows the owner to summon one of the specified creature for each level, and only that many of this creature may be in play in the same turn. Type of creature may not be changed, but additional Nests may be purchased to allow additional types. These creatures are not sentient and may not exist outside a Loci.

[Element] Turret, level 1
Cost: 250 Mana, 200 Mana per level
Acres: 10, grows 5 Acres every ten levels
Structure
A small bunker from which arrows, cannonballs, bullets, or magical blasts may be fired from. Unless the owner can summon other creatures (either a tamed Beast Loci or from a Nest), they will have to man the turret themselves. Level 2 places the turret on top of a tower of ten feet plus five for each additional level.

Mine, level 1
Cost: 750 Mana, 500 Mana per level
Acres: 25
Structure
Each individual mine produces additional Mana, even if the user is not inside a Loci. Produces 5 Mana when the owner starts a thread, and one Mana every page. Has a 50% chance of collapsing with each use, requiring a new one to be built in its place. Each level reduces this chance by 5%, to a minimum of 10%.

[Creature] Armory, level 1
Cost: 300 Mana, 200 Mana per level until level 3, 250 Mana per level until level 5, 400 Mana per level until level 9, 750 Mana per level until level 15, 10,000 Mana per level from then on.
Acres: 10, 15 at level 5, 25 at level 9, 40 at level 15
Structure
Provides weaponry for the associated creature, making them more powerful. Can be used by any player who can also summon that creature, provided they can access it. Each level increases the size and durability of the Armory. Level 3 produces battle armor, level 5 produces mounts, level 9 produces tanks, and level 15 produces mechs.

Cost: 100 Mana

Structure
Produces food or something. I dunno.

Toolshed, level 1
Cost: 300 Mana, 200 Mana per level
Acres: 15
Structure
Provides tools that allows creatures to repair damaged structures. The higher the Toolshed’s level, the faster the structure may be repaired. Higher level structures can take more damage, but more damage takes longer to fully repair. Creatures can not be armed and using tools at the same time.

Shrine of Power, level 1
Cost: 900 Mana, 750 Mana per level
Acres: 20, grows 5 Acres every 5 levels
Structure
Increases the offensive power of a Genius while they are inside a Loci. Power is increased further for each creature occupying the Shrine. The level of the Shrine indicates how many creatures can occupy it. Other Geniuses may also use this shrine by occupying it with their own creatures.

Shrine of Faith, level 1
Cost: 900 Mana, 750 Mana per level
Acres: 20, grows 5 Acres every 5 levels
Structure
Increases the defensive power of a Genius while they are inside a Loci. Defense is increased further for each creature occupying the Shrine. The level of the Shrine indicates how many creatures can occupy it. Other Geniuses may also use this shrine by occupying it with their own creatures.

Shrine of Spirit, level 1
Cost: 900 Mana, 750 Mana per level
Acres: 20, grows 5 Acres every 5 levels

Increases the energy of a Genius while they are inside a Loci. Energy is increased further for each creature occupying the Shrine. The level of the Shrine indicates how many creatures can occupy it. Other Geniuses may also use this shrine by occupying it with their own creatures.

Shrine of Zealotry, level 1
Cost: 900 Mana, 750 Mana per level
Acres: 20, grows 5 Acres every 5 levels
Structure
Increases the speed of a Genius while they are inside a Loci. Speed is increased further for each creature occupying the Shrine. The level of the Shrine indicates how many creatures can occupy it. Other Geniuses may also use this shrine by occupying it with their own creatures.

[Element] Well, level 1
Cost: 200 Mana, 150 Mana per level
Acres: 15
Structure
Pick an element upon purchase. Element must belong to an ally. If they cease being an ally, the Well runs dry and becomes unusable. Allows the user limited access to that element. Level 1 allows the user to apply the element to their Upheaval attacks, level 2 allows application to Barrier, level 3 applies to Forge, and level 4 allows the user to make the element Rain, provided the user has these abilities. Each are equal to the initial level of the ability, and each additional level is equal to one level in that ability but no greater than the user’s own ability level.

[Element] Infusion Facility, level 1
Cost: 400 Mana, 250 Mana per level
Acres: 15
Structure
Pick an element upon purchase that you have a Well for. If the Well is dry, this facility will no longer function. Allows one Turret to use that element. From level 2 onward, the Infusion Facility’s element may be also used by an Armory. The Infusion Facility may only augment equipment on a tier lower than the Infusion Facility’s level. Each Infusion Facility may only augment two structures at once.

Slant Derrick, level 1
Cost: 500 Mana, 250 Mana per level
Acres: 20
Structure
May be used in the place of a Well. Allows the user limited access to their opponent’s element. If the opponent has a Well, the user may access that element instead. The user may not switch elements mid-battle, but multiple Slant Derricks may each access different elements. Level 1 allows the user to apply the element to their Upheaval attacks, level 2 allows application to Barrier, level 3 applies to Forge, and level 4 allows the user to make the element Rain, provided the user has these abilities. Each are equal to the initial level of the ability, and each additional level is equal to one level in that ability but no greater than the user’s own ability level. If the Slant Derrick’s level is at least two levels greater than a Well of the same element, that Well becomes temporarily dry.

Breeding Facility, level 1
Cost: 450 Mana, 300 Mana per level
Acres: 15, grows 5 Acres per level
Structure
If both you and one of your allies have Nests, you may use this facility to produce hybrids of one of your creatures and one of theirs. Produces one hybrid at level 1 and another every two levels after that. Each Breeding Facility produces one type of hybrid per level. Each Hybrid can access any Armory associated with either creature.
