So for the past few weeks, we've been learning about what chemicals and burning fossil fuels is doing to the earth and how it is creating Global Warming and the Greenhouse Effect. In a few lessons, we have to do a debate about whether the chemicals we use are good or bad. We learnt that alot of these chemicals have greatly helped to improve the lives of humans and made life a bit easier. But they are also harming the planet and killing off species of plant and animals. What do you guys think? Are you for or against using chemicals and burning fossil fuels for energy? Any thoughts on the subject?

I can't say I am against it because I am one of those people who pollute the environment becuse I drive a car and it's not a hybrid car or anything. I so wish we can find other means so we don't pollute the environment that causes these harmful effects.

I dont agree with using it, but until they can find a viable way of doing the althernative, then what choice do we have? Though i do not drive a car but im sure i pollute the environemt in more ways than i realise

Everywhere in the world the weather is changing... here for example he heat is so terrible. Way hotter then earlier. The rains horrible. Places flooding and we never hd things like that before. I think maybe they should invent or think up other ways to replace the chemicals and the burning!
