Just yesterday I logged in onto site with my old dial-up modem line (My DSL was temporarily down)... IT TOOK ME FOREVER TO PEN THE BOARD!!! So, I've decided to come up with some rules that might be useful to users with slow internet connections. And there will be whole bunch of users when new album comes out....the board must function fludily for everyone, not just broadband users. First problem are signatures...some of us (myself included) have way too large sigs....so...First set of rules is about user signatures (with pictures!): First set of rules for user signatures (with pictures!): 1. Every user can have only one picture in signature 2. That picture MUST NOT be larger than: 150pix (height) and 500pix (width) 3. NO animated pictures Second set of rules for text signatures: 1. Text font MOST NOT be larger than 16 2. Signature lenght MUST be limited to 8 lines 3. NO text effects alowed Third set of rules is about pictures/wallpapers/or any image posting: 1. Use image "[img]" tag only if pictures are less than 800X600 in height/width 2. For larger images use http:// or [url] tag...or just post link to ti. DOn't try to display the image. 3. For images from your PC use attachment mode All user MUST comply to these rules. Otherwise they will be warned and their sigs will be edited by admin/mod force. If, in any case, any user decide to continue breaking the rules after 2 warnings THEY WILL BE PERMANENTLY BANNED! So I recommend to all users (mods too) to read comply to this rules. I've already edited my sig, and removed all images from it. This is NOT a joke....I'll start banning people....this board MUST be kept functional. Sincerely.... Yeah I agree with you. Mines have been slowing down too. Well, looks like I have to go and change my dam signature!

It's ok....I haven't got much sleep lately either ;) I hate to bring this up....but you sig is still too big.... Images must not be larger than 150 pix in height! Here are some examples: MAXIMUM SIG SIZE..... Posted Image SIG EXAMPLE No1: Posted Image SIG EXAMPLE No2: Posted Image So once again: MAXIMUM IMAGE HEIGHT IS: 150 Pixels MAXIMUM IMAGE WIDTH IS: 500 Pixels Sig can be smaller like 150X150 or 150x300 or 75X100 or any variatio under 150X500. This decision is non-discussable.... Whoever chooses NOT to obey this...will be (as stated im ny first post) first warned 2 times by mods and than permanetly banned. NOTE TO ALL MODS: If you warn any user about his/her sig...PM me or Punisher and we will continue to track users actions from thar point on. Thnak you for cooperation. |

To resize theis pictures/sigs users can use programs like: ACDSee Photoshop Corel Or any other image editor. IF you need help resizing your pictures you can even send tham to me, I'll do it for you. |
