OMG! What a crazy-awesome-insane experience!! So Danny, my brother and me started by meeting Manny and his friends at Hooters. I can't get over how much Manny looks like Tommy Dreamer. lol Finding parking was a minor pain, but the walk from where we parked to Hooters was a killer. It was so fu****g hot!! Omg dude!! I can still feel the heat!! It might just be me, but umm the girls at Hooters don't look as good as I remember. I guess a lot can happen in 4 years. lol So we arrive at Hooters and find Manny and his friends. We order drinks and chill until it's time to walk over to the American Airlines Center (AAC). Time passes and we walk over to the AAC. It was still hot as hell outside!! We get to the arena or whatever and there is this montrous line wrapping all the way around the arena. Everybody and their momma (literally) showed up. While waiting in line my necklace finally broke. I guess I shouldn't be suprised after all I never took it off in 4 years maybe. Anyways, I got tired of waiting in line so I suggested that someone go scout up ahead so we know wtf is going on. Turns out we were in that long donkey line for no reason. There were 2 other lines with maybe 16 people between them. My brother set the dam metal detector off with all of his chains and accessories. I think the security lady was happy to get a better look at my brother if you know what I mean. lol Okay so we find our seats and I meet this guy who traveled all the way from Midland, Texas. It's about a 6 hr drive from here. When he told me where he was from I immediately thought about Eliza. I miss her. I haven't talked to her in ages. So yeah my new friend brought like 5 signs and let my brother and I use a couple of them. The sign I had read "The HULK" and the one my brother had read "I Got 2 Words For ya S*Ck It!" I will always remember that sign I held up because it landed me on T.V. 2 times. My total cameos is 4, but I'll get into that later. My brother never got to get on T.V. with his sign because dickhead (that's what we refered to him as) took his sign. Other people's signs got taken as well. I am so going to protest that sugar!! At least my bother can be seen standing next to me!
:) So I finally got to see Hulk Hogan in person as well as his fine donkey daughter Brooke-tini!! It was cool. After the DX/Spirit Squad match Trips mooned the Spirit Squad and those who his donkey happened to be facing (us)! lol I guess I should talk about what I wore. I wore one of the Undertaker's tees. It has Taker on the front as the grim reaper and on the back is says "death waits for no man." Don't worry folks I took pics. I just have to get my lazy donkey to put them up. lol What most of you probably don't know is that there was a bonus match just for the fans at the AAC. It featured Taker vs Khali and Umaga in a handicap match. It was awesome. After the match Taker circled the ring kind of playing to the crowd and for whatever reason he stopped directly in my line of sight, lean on the ropes and looked at me/the crowd. It was great!! I did get the impression that he might retire soon. There was just this look in his eyes, ya know? He did his signature poses (again playing to the crowd) and we ate it up!!! lol I guess now I will just talk about some of the other moment that stand out to me. Cheering for Edge. There were about 20+ people that I could see who cheered for Edge in the main event. my brother and I being among them. my favorite moment has to be the "boo/yeah" chant. lol There was the little part of the match where Cena and Edge were trading punches. When Cena would hit Edge the crowd would "boo" and when Edge would hit Cena the crowd would "yeah." It was so funny watching it on tape when I got home. Cena F-Uing Edge. So after the match Cena decided he was going to kick Edge's donkey some more. You could tell he was going to F-U Edge through a table, but what was unexpected was that he would do it off of the steel stairs! I was like "holy sugar!!" lol Amy Dumas. omfg dude Amy Dumas (Lita) is fine as hell. I love her red hair! It looks so much better now that she darkened it. And those boobies!! :D You got to love them. lol Randy Orton RKO's Hogan. You just knew Orton was going to do something. I mean he is the "Legend Killer." I was like dam when Randy RKO'd Hogan on the back of his rental car. Randy was already pushing his luck by hitting on/chatting up Brooke Hogan and challenging Hogan to a match at Summer Slam, but after I saw him RKO Hogan I knew it was going to be on. lol I wonder wait Hogan plans on doing to Orton at Summer Slam!?! I can't wait!! The Big Show. This dude is huge!! He is 7 ft tall, 500+ lbs!! Do you know how big that is? Bigger than you think! lol My I was there moment. I was there when in front of a 17,343 capacity crowd The Big Show and The Great Khali double choked slammed the Undertaker! Maria's Kiss Cam. Anyone who know's WWE knows about Maria's Kiss Cam. Camera guys sweep the crowd looking for couples to kiss. The thing is they don't really have to be a couple! Which is so the best part!! lol 2 great kiss cam moments were when the camera was on these 2 guys and these 2 people who were a sit apart. The guys refused to kiss each other...both times! lol The 2 strangers didn't have a problem though. lol Vince's Frustration. During the commercial break after the DX/Spirit Squad match Vince had words with a fan. From where I was sitting it looked like Vince took a swing at him. lol After the show. While outside waiting for all the members of our group to get to our meet up spot one of the members of the Spirit Squad walked right passed me, surrounded by security of course. Also, Carlito was out and about signing autographs. Me on T.V. For those of you who dl'd or tivo'd/taped Main Event you can see me when Hogan first comes out, when Hogan and Brooke are posing for the crowd after their little segment, right b4 the divas bull riding "earlier tonight" segment and after the DX match when Shawn and Trips are on the holding cell. Kevin Von Erich. It was cool seeing an old school wrestler. lol Kevin and his brothers were my mom's favorites. I am guessing he was there to promote "Heroes of World Class The Story of the Von Erichs and The Rise and Fall of World Class Championship Wrestling." The ride home was chill I suppose. We were listening to Pac. Oh yeah I found out that The Game (the rapper) used to be a stripper! Someone put out a mixtape with a pic of him doing his thang I guess. lol I finished the night with a cold beer and some dvd's. |
