B) this is going on in united states, not sure if it happening in your country or not where people are trying to take santa and christ out of chrismas. they say it violates the constitution. so now they want us to call it x-mas or holiday. now the schools are in court where they have togo to school on christmas. this is stupid united states was based on under god, which seems we turned against. for generations people have not care what people celebrate especially christmas. cause on big mouth thanks, that christmas is a waste to have off, not good for business. now my thoughts united states needs to swallow their pride, and keep the holidays the same. besides I will not go to school on christmas, besides what are theygoing to do arrest 1 million people |

I totally agree with u.On everything Roseanne said on Jay Leno the world will end on 6/6/6.I dont know they said that in 1999.I hear people saying that all my life. :( But the people that do wrong r going to be scarced the most.If people did what was right instead of acting like they r God.They r just like u & me just in a position of power.These people need to learn to leave people alone.Help other places over seas is no problem.But not trying to help people in your on backyard.That is wrong. :angry: |

we listen to people whine and we tend to shut them up by given up. if the people don't like christmas, then don't celebrate it no one forcing you. Now I probably get an abuse reported on this post. |

I do agree that is goign way to far. Nothing like that happening over this end of the world as far as I am aware. But i will say that the true meaning of what christmas stands for has been lost in commercialization though. My kids know santa = christmas,presents = xmas I sat and told them the reason of why it is called CHRIST mas and they are 6 and 3 and was not sure, this year they are getting less presents, and more of the true christmas, I am not a religious person myself, but to me the true magic of christmas is the carols, and the feeling of family. how can you have family christmas in a world where the extended family is so scattered if they are not given holidays in which to travel and be together. |

I never heard anything of that sort over here in California. Hmm..Well, it's a celebration, celebrated by many and like any other celebration if you don't believe in it than don't celebrate it. It's so stupid that people are concentrating on this instead of more pressing matters. :blink: :mellow: |

interesting subject ! i agree with you, if for some reason people or certain communities in the population dont wish to celebrate christmas for what ever reason it maybe, fine no skin off our noise, each to their own i say and each respect each other on how they want to celebrate christmas if so at all. and luckly its not like that in australia yet, but you can see it coming with migration of other countries, this is were it upsets you, if you choose to live in a country atleast try and respect their culture and not force there on to you. but in saying that i dont care what they do or how they live with there culture here. christmas here is all about fun family presents and santa wooooooooohooooooooooooo but he doesnt come to me any more :( |

Thats because you are a big kid now... he only delivers to little boys and girls lol Celebration = having fun... anyone who has fun during the christmas season, is celebrating it. anyone not having fun, just dont do it, pretty simple, dont have to force your beliefs onto anyone else. Why do people always try to over complicate things, and why is it always people in power that try to opress us |
