Posts: 1,750 Group: Members Member #33 Joined: December 11, 2004	okay so heres my question of the week; how do you know when a guy like likes you??? seeming as your all guys i thought you would be perfect to ask. so im friends with this guy (no really??) and we talk heaps, and msg but hes in brissie atm. anyway hes coming back in march for a week and were going to go to a party together (as friends??? i just dont know) Were always teasing each other (calling each other names like sexy and baby.. that kinda stuff) Anyway so i dont want to make a fool outta myself by telling him that i like him if he doesn't feel the same back. So how do i know if he likes me????

Posts: 2,895 Group: Members Member #8 Joined: November 11, 2004	How To Tell If A Guy Likes You (IN THAT WAY lol.) 1) He gives you his undivided attention. 2) He blows off his friends for you. 3) He returns your phone calls as soon as he receives your message or he calls you back the instant you beep him. 4) He talks about things the two of you will do in the future. 5) He is willing to change his plans for you. 6) Hhe goes out of his way to do something nice for you, like bake you a cookies or buy you a present. 7) When you go out on dates, or just buying a soda after class., he insists on paying for stuff on an equal basis, for for the entire event/meal. ( ie : you pay this time, he pays next time). 8) He shows a strong interest in your life, asking a lot of questions about your hobbies, family, job, etc. 9) He changes something about her appearance just because He knows it will make you happy ( for instance, he gets a new haircut, starts shaving every day). 10) He offers you a sip of his drink, or takes a sip out of yours (Essentially he's telling you he's willing to swap saliva with you !). there's mo' i'll tell you if you want to know. that's just off the top of my head.

A lot depends on the type of guy and his individual personality. Shy Guys These are tough to crack sometimes... He'll look at you, until you turn around, then boom, he's looking the other way. You may 'feel' like he's watching you - but he's hard to catch at it He may do something physical - like grab you in a play way, poke you, play with your hair... (Remember when you were really young and the guy you liked punched you or tackled you?) He may be working really hard to pay attention to you, but doesn't quite know how... He may ask a friend of yours about you - he'll say it's just for "friend of mine" that wants to know about you. He talks to everybody else - but when you're around he turns silent, or chokes up. You seem to accidentally bump into him a lot of different places. He may not say a word to you, but he shows up in the same line, at the same movie, etc. He'll give you a little smile from across the room, but if you get near, he won't look up. Basically - the BIG clue is that his behavior changes when you're around (compared to when he's around his buds or other girls). He might also become very shy and mumble when he speaks to you. DEAD Giveaway - when you talk to him he turns red. (Bingo - you can pack that puppy up and take him home...) MORE Normal guys He might start talking loudly in your presence or start treating you as one of the guys. (Yes, this is a weird way to show he likes you, but it's one of the most common and strongest signals!) Then again, he could behave like a real Casanova, praising you for no apparent reason and straining hard to hold a sustained intelligent conversation (often ending in him asking for your phone number or for a date) If he is acting more flirtatious toward you than toward other people at the same event If his friends are paying attention to you when he isn't around (often a clue that this guy talked to his or her friends about you). If he always seems to be around (especially if you get the "instinct" that he's there because of you) If he is smiling while listening to you, and seems to be listening especially "actively" If he seems to look into your eyes a little longer than normally. If he remembers stuff you said before and brings it up again (asking questions about something you mentioned in the past ) - shows he's interested in you. It may take you by surprise. You might have been casually talking when he was around and two weeks later he'll say, "Well, you like strawberry milkshake" His voice changes when he talks to you in a group. He may say "Hey." to everyone with you, but the "Hey." to you is a little different. His voice gets softer when the two of you talk. Sometimes he stares straight into your eyes. His eyes get 'soft' when he looks at you. He watches your lips. (Dead give away.) He tells you that you smell nice. Testing Your Suspicions: If you think a guy likes you (trust your gut instinct, girls) but you can't be totally sure, try this: Give him your best smile. If he smiles back, or his face suddenly lights up, tah dah! He likes you. If he starts sweating and looks all flustered, he likes you even more. If his smile is the polite kind, or if he frowns or looks away, that's a bad sign that maybe he isn't interested in you after all. ________________________________________________ Okay i know i'm giving away some of the secrets of guys but it's to help ya, so guys dont think im giving away all the secrets. So i dont know whether to say anything or not - because he could be outta credit. okay so plus theres another guy i like - lol - shock horror :o i know. So theres trent - whos my friend hes 20, works with the gov. and trying to get into rugby (but i wont hold that against him) really nice, sweet and funny. And theres james - we only met about 2 weeks ago but hes nice too, umm 24, navy officer, hes going to teach me how to hold my breath under water for a long time - lol - mind outta the gutter! So now that i like james to i dont know whether to tell trent that i like him plus like i said we havent spoken in a while where as i spoke to james the other day... gah... wheres flower when you need another girls opinion..... :unsure: maybe ill just wait until trent comes home - see what happens at the party and go from there.

If he wants to be like that- I'm not going to not look now ( i wasn't before because i didn't know what was happening with us) So i lost the compotition pathetically (between james and me - who can hold there breath under the water longest) and things kinda went from there - suffice it to say that what started out as attempts to drown me and chuck me outta the pool turned into semi caressess - so now im not sure where we stand. Oh well, ill just see what happens. Thought i would let you all know that i took your advice about asking trent and thanks

I guess that having someone touch my donkey a few times must have given me the wrong impression about what he wanted.
