Who you ask? Anti-Santa Claus folks!!! Deeply sorry for any offensive things i might say in this post. Why in the hell do you not like santa claus? Is santa claus satanic? i dont think so. I was watching a news program this afternoon, not sure which possiblly CNN. Not really sure. And it just caught me off gaurd. Well, apparentlly england is banning santa claus from their malls during xmas.this has been going on in other countries. and in some parts of the states. And I know there is deep thought and discussion related to allowing santa claus in U.S. malls. This is just down right WRONG. i have every year of my life taken a picture with santa, heck last year i did it with my dog, nad i plan to do it agin. santa claus is just something FUN for the whole Family and unites every person in the world together for one time on one day of every single year. It connects every person no matter origin, race, religion, or political beliefs. If we rid the world of santa claus we as a world, not a country, will be sepreated forever. Let me explain better..... Growing up in america, like most of you on this board. I think we would all agree that santa claus is "the personification of the spirit of Christmas, usually represented as a jolly fat old man with a white beard and a red suit, who brings gifts to good children on Christmas Eve" (The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language, Fourth Edition) You can skip this if you know it..... * Now for those that dont know that history of santa here ya go, he was abandoned at birth and was "adopted," on the door-step of the elfs. Gowing up with the elfs he notced that he was a little out of place, and a heck of a lot taller than his peers. he goes to town on occassion to deliver toys to little boys and girls. one day while in town he sees a really good-lookin girl. who else than the future-mrs. santa claus. Weel as it goes every story has to have bad guys, these bad guys repeated stole the toys from Kriss Kringle so out thinking the bad guys he secretly sneaked around in the middle of the night on a day that people were sound asleep, xmas* Long story short. no where in his life is santa proposed as being evil, bad and certainly not satanic (of course santa claus is made-up or is he? I BELIEVE SANTA!). There are serveral webpages on the internet on this subject but one that i thought said very veautifully what im trying to say, here.; The owner of this site, Jan, recives many letters every year but one letter she "found very disturbing," caught her eye... Santa is not satanic just because some idiot some where switch the letters in his name doesn't make his satan or satanic. if it does that im going right now to give offerings to of and worshipping my Dog in front of his 'temple'. (Dog = GOD) I have to end this sometime nad i just previewed this but it's getting too long, lol. -fsr Footnote: |

'cause he's eviilllllll i really have no clue i mean were's your freakin imagination PEOPLE?????? believe in something. just because i beleive in santa doesn't mean i dont believe in god or forget about jesus. if anything it makes be think about it more. also santa gives our imagination something to work on. ever seen that blockbuster commerical? where santa flies around inthe non-reindeer suped-up sled it's awesome SUPER SANTA. he's just soething for us to hang on even when we grow old. and stop believe in things we used too. the Fat jolly guy is still there. -fsr |

well since im a youngin at heart (and age too!) i have to say i love the idea of santa and would love to believe in him but as i work in retail its just too hard. Not trying to place blame but parents build up the idea of santa and then commercialism slashes it down. I mean christmas the red and white colours was actually created by coco-cola. So we just live in a world where more emphasis is based on money than actual beliefs. Slightly off topic so i'll go now - just saying though that i would love to believe in Santa but its almost enforced into you when your older that hes not real. Ciao, Lauren |
