Im simply saying that i believe that occasionally a child may have to be spanked for an effective punishment. I think that i was spanked once as a child and it hasnt harmed me at all but i know sure as hell never to do that again. So i believe that it can be effective. But not as an everyday punishment like timeout or grounding - which are different issues all toghther... gah!! im getting a bit cross - eyed.
