teachers like that should not be allowed to graduate from uni/college. sure she might have had a bad day but that gives her no right to speak to a student like that. firstly its wrong to demorilize a student in front of the class but even in private its wrong - it doesn't help them to feel good about themselves or the school. if you feel reallly strongly about it (like i obviously do) you could either talk to a teacher or anomously tell the head of department about the incident becuase if the teacher is not disiplined/spoken to she will continue to do it to other students. my god! i cant believe that someone would be that cruel - all throughout first year we learnt about child pysch. and that kinda stuff.. managment of a classroom and behaviour and that has to be the number one thing of what not to say. Teachers should not be able to abuse a position like theres and the trust that comes with it. |
