I just dont understand your completely patriotic ways In the 40s and 50 there was a country that had similar beliefs and look what it lead to okay i didn't read that. that was nasty lauren and very rude. just because we take pride and show probally more than anyother country, yes in more ways then one. Quote: i mean signing the anthem again what does it actually do apart from affect students? okay now this might sound rude::: signing the anthem again???? what the heck do you mean? we're not signing the anthem, i think you might be thinking of re-doing the pledge od alliengence (however you spell it) because it says under god, which does go againist the consitution, separtation of chruch and state. but that doesn't affect me any. Now we SING the anthem to remind us of what our country has been through and is going through its a sysbol that if our flag is still standing that there will always be hope. and a new day will soon come. it provides saftey and assurance that we will have perserverance in everything we do and accomplish for the BEST of all americans and humans alike that goes for the better good. now about the pledge of alliengence im not too sure. i guess, "i pledge alliegence to the flag of the USA and to the republic for which it stands one nation under god indivisible for liberty and jusitice for all" means that of course to tell kids/parents and citizents that they will not go againist the United States. And help the country for the best. also stating that we will be one nation that can't be divided and there will be liberty and justice for all. but we love our country, not saying you dont love yours or we love ours more. but i guess it seems werid for you not to repeat your anthem or pledge (if you have one, i dont know?) whenever you want. just accept us for our cultral differences as we accept you.
