Posts: 1,750 Group: Members Member #33 Joined: December 11, 2004	I have a sister who is gay, her and her partner love each other very much why are they less entitled to happiness then straight people? If they spend their lives together and one passes away the other will not get the house or any property as the government does not recongise their relationship. The comment about aids is just wrong. Straight men and women can just as easily spread disease. There is a litttle invention called protection and i think we all know what i mean so i dont have to go into detail without saying that all men and women have common sense and know when to use it. The fault and emphasis should not be placed upon gay people. If australia recongised gay marriages we would be a much better , freer place. Tasmania has a registry for gay couples but what does that get you in the court of law? Nothing. Thats me done, Ciao, Lauren
