It's nice that you have strong beliefs. But i seriously have to Disagree! Yes canada does have their owns laws cause it's a different country. What say do you, or anyother person, have over what to people do with their life and how they life it? As long as it's not hurting anyone else. which gay marriage doesn't. Even though im Roman Catholic, and as we all know the Pope of course, heh, who has the "first" say over gay marrige, says NO! I'm what i would call a new-age catholic, where my personal experinces affect my views on certain things this just happens to be one of them. Gay Marriage is fine with me, there's nothing wrong with it, two people, hell let's do this, two Americans happliy in-love with eachother. they know what they want, more than anyone else. If it is with a person of the same-sex then so be it. I have plenty of friends, mostly my mom's co-workers, but some school mates, and old-friends from up-north, that are gay. i have no problem with it, it's not like being around them will turn me gay, or somewhere down the line im going to contract hiv from being around them. i love my woman. being around them isn't going to change my mind. And since i have more than several friends that are gay, i want to see them happy as well as myself. them marrying eachother isn't going to hurt you. And it's someithng to be proud of. You should always be proud of who you are. why shouldn't you be proud? and yes as long as that crazy person is in office we wont because his little religous ass will always vote againist it, hell even if kerry got elected he would vote no because of course he wants to stay in office again. and if he voted yes the catholics would never vote for him. and that's enough votes to cost him the election. you just sound like your againist all gay people. and really as long as your tested and have never been with any one else, you can't get hiv it's just like fe/male relationship. just bc the same sexs gets together doesn't automatically make hiv. i guest i'll let someone else post lmao. sorry if it sounds a little discombobulated, im just a little exciteds about skool, lol --fsr |
