i tend to agree with you. also we all tend to try and protect children from abuse. we do not explain it properly in school... what is abuse and what is normal parental behaviour. and lets face it... to one child it may be perfectly normal for the abuse to be there. they themselves do not understand it is abuse in the first place. this is especially true of mental abuse. the only way to catch more abusers... and make sure they are punished properly, is to educate children more about what people are allowed to do and what is not acceptable. and i am saying this from personal experience |
