![]() The Free Flyknit name continues on as the Nike Free Run 2 makes its debut with a three-kick collection. Coming from the triple-threat creative collective consisting of Hiroshi Fujiwara, Tinker Hatfield, and Mark Parker, the components of the collection coincidentally feature three of Nike’s exclusive tech specs: Free outsoles, Flyknit uppers and Dynamic Flywire. Available in White/Light Charcoal, Volt/Varsity Royal and Tour Yellow/Charcoal, the trio will be releasing at select Nike Sportswear retailers, such as colette. While we await the release of the “King’s Pride” and “Terracotta Warrior” Free Runs, we get a close-up look at the Nike Free 3.0 Black/Red – a colorway that King James might spend the majority of the Heat’s road games in – by way of Gary Warnett’s Instagram account. The Hyperfuse construction is based in black, while the actual shell of the shoe is covered in red. A contrasting, white Swoosh, plus red lace locks and Black/White laces, compliment the shoe’s vibrant appeal. Stay tuned for release information regarding the Nike Free Run Black/Red. Since Gary Payton announced the release date of the Nike Free 3.0 Women, this shoe has been deemed the must-have of October. A week after the White/Black pair is said to release , Nike is scheduled to launch this Black/White-University Red to select retailers nationwide. The complimenting University Red accents can be seen on the outsole, heel tab and inside the shroud, while the majority of the shoe is covered in black and white. The Nike Free 5.0 continues to impress with new and noteworthy colorways. The latest release finds the Racer’s woven Flyknit upper draped in chlorine blue and dark obsidian, and set atop a cleat white midsole. |
