- Which game series did you find had the best/well-made soundtrack? For me, it was a tough decision, but came out with these... --- Soul Edge - Including both the original/arrangments and remixes. The music was very original :china: Final Fantasy VIII/X - Simple and nice orchestra work Xenosaga - Probably the best Orchestra work :china: DDR - Awesome beats! :woot: |

It's tough to narrow it down to just ONE game, so I'll have to choose a few that I thought were outstanding soundtracks. Let's see... -Final Fantasy X -Xenosaga: Episode 1 -Castlevania: Lament of Innocence -Final Fantasy Tactics -Castlevania: Symphony of the Night -Castlevania IV (Yes, it's an old game, but still blows me away whenever I hear most of its tracks) And as for DOA themes that really impressed me, in DOA2, I enjoyed Helena's, Ayane's and Ryu's themes and in DOA3, I absolutely loved Kasumi's theme as well as Hayabusa's and Ayane's. |

Final Fantasy X had the best sound track ever! I still find myself huming to the intro musik! Grandia 2 had a fantastic sound track and Ape Escape 2 was kinda good(fun). Also Gregory Horror Show had some good scary musik and if I remember a really nice one towards the end of the game.

Secret of Mana music! Does anyone else agree that there is something special about midi-style game music? I mean, orchestrated music is good too but I can't say its better than old school midi-music....it's like apples and oranges. I also like the music for every Final Fantasy game I've played (Sephiroth's theme!). The Berserk game on dreamcast has good music. And Zelda music! |

I also forgot Dark Chronicle and Kingdom Hearts. Onimusha had decent musik and SONY'S new Sing Star had some fine songs to sing to. And this is not really a song but the sound of the waves crashing sent a chill down my spine in ICO.
